国内首部XR虚拟全景拍摄电影项目在广州启动

为推动电影工业在中国的发展,打造“粤港澳大湾区+中国-东盟自贸区”电影产业新高地,2023年,5月18日,“打造粤港澳大湾区+中国-东盟自贸区电影产业新高地暨电影《开往边境的列车》启动仪式”在广州市增城区1978创意园演艺中心隆重举行。

活动由广东省电影行业协会指导,广州传奇影业有限公司、广西壹碗人间文化传播有限责任公司、深圳市洲明科技股份有限公司、广州圆石文化有限公司、广西誉枫影视有限公司、佛山市水三千文化有限公司、广州梦工场影业有限公司、广州市1978电影小镇联合主办,广州轩智文化传播有限公司承办。

电影《开往边境的列车》采用XR 虚拟拍摄技术摄制,广西场景采集,广东影棚摄制。两广电影人携手与国际顶尖团队一起将为观众呈现一个发生在列车上,充满想象力和创意的 “艺术+技术”的视听创新精品。据悉,本片90%都将在影棚拍摄。该电影讲述了乘客在开往边境的列车上与私藏国宝的不法分子斗智斗勇的故事。

广东省电影行业协会执行会长黄昌宁、中国电影发行放映协会副会长、澳门中影出版传媒集团有限公司董事长郑永同等嘉宾和制作方在致辞中表示,当前已进入数字化和网络化时代,XR拍摄作为一种最新的虚拟制作方式,经过多方力量汇聚,随着传奇梦工场虚拟实景拍摄基地的落地和一系列电影项目的开拍,必将为两广电影乃至全中国的电影带来惊喜,为电影强国建设贡献更多力量。

《开往边境的列车》将引进洲明科技高水平的XR虚拟拍摄技术,不仅使电影的科技属性叠满,还能提高电影拍摄的效率,降低电影制作的成本,更能激发创作者的想象空间。借助电影项目启动的东风,广西卫视和广州传奇影业、洲明科技股份有限公司就XR虚拟拍摄制作达成合作意向,三方共同携手加大XR技术在广西的推广和应用,为广西的影视拍摄、大型政府会议、演出等呈现更加良好的效果,期待“更高技术格式,更新应用场景,更美视听体验”运用于广西的视听产业中。

To promote the development of the film industry in China and create a new hub for the film industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, on May 18th, the ceremony for the launch of the film "Guangxi Express" and the establishment of the new film industry hub in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area was grandly held at the 1978 Creative Park Performing Arts Center in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou.

The event, guided by the Guangdong Film Industry Association, was jointly organized by Guangzhou 24 Dreams Per Second Co., Ltd., Guangxi Yiwàn Renjiān Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Zhōu Míng Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Yuánshí Culture Co., Ltd., Guangxi Yùfēng Film and Television Co., Ltd., Foshan Shuǐ Sānqiān Culture Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Dream Factory Film Co., Ltd., and Guangzhou 1978 Film Town, with Guangzhou Xuanzhi Cultural Communication Co., Ltd. as the organizer.

The film "Guangxi Express" was shot using XR virtual shooting technology, with scenes filmed in Guangxi and studios in Guangdong. Filmmakers from both Guangdong and Guangxi, collaborating with an international top-notch team, aim to present an audio-visual innovation combining "art + technology" set on a train filled with imagination and creativity. It is reported that 90% of the film will be shot in the studio. The movie tells the story of passengers on a train to the border engaging in a battle of wits with illegal criminals hiding national treasures.

At the signing ceremony, 24 Dreams Per Second, Guangxi TV, and Zhōu Míng Technology were represented.

Huang Changning, Executive President of the Guangdong Film Industry Association, and Zheng Yongtong, Vice President of the China Film Distribution and Projection Association and Chairman of Macau China Film Publishing Media Group Co., Ltd., along with other guests and production teams, expressed in their speeches that we are currently in the era of digitization and networking. XR shooting, as a cutting-edge virtual production method, will bring surprises to the film industry in Guangdong, Guangxi, and even across China. With the establishment of the 24 Dreams Per Second virtual reality shooting base and the commencement of a series of film projects, it is expected to contribute more to the construction of a strong film nation.

The film "Guangxi Express" will introduce Zhōu Míng Technology's high-level XR virtual shooting technology, not only maximizing the technological attributes of the film but also improving shooting efficiency, reducing production costs, and stimulating the creative space for filmmakers. Leveraging the momentum of the film project launch, Guangxi TV, Guangzhou Legendary Pictures, and Zhōu Míng Technology have expressed their intention to cooperate on XR virtual shooting production. The three parties will work together to promote and apply XR technology in Guangxi, aiming to present better results for film shooting, large-scale government conferences, performances, and more in the region. They look forward to the application of "higher technical formats, updated application scenarios, and a more beautiful audio-visual experience" in Guangxi's audio-visual industry.
